Dont Hold Off Ambulance For VIP Movement: CM Naveen Pattnaik

Bhubaneswar, September 19: Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik asked the Odisha Police today not to hold off ambulance for the passage of any elite vehicles in roads.

"Life of the patients are more important than any VIP movements so sont detain the ambulance at any moment like this",he said.

In order to allow smooth movement of ambulance, the Chief Minister issued direction to authorities to construct special corridors for patient carriers. 

On the first phase, the special ambulance corridors would be constructed near major road crossings in the state, an official release said adding that the Patnaik would review the matter after one month.
