Four laning of Cuttack-Angul Road expansion Approved By Union Cabinet

New Delhi, septmber 23: Union Cabinet approved for expansion of the 112 Km Cuttack-Angul road into four lanes of National Highway NH - 42 in the State of Odisha under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase III at an estimated costof Rs. 1575.38 Crore.

Shri Dharmendra Pradhan has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Cabinet, specially Cabinet Minister for Road Transport & Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari for taking this long awaited decision.

Pradhan said that the project will give a major boost to connectivity in the industrial belt and also help in reducing the time and cost of travel for people and commercial activities playing between Cuttack and Angul.
