BJD Executive Body Meets Today

Bhubaneswar, September 23: The ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has begun its state executive body meeting today to discuss the party's organisational poll in the district and block levels here.

Besides, the party will also prepare the blueprint for the Jan Sampark Padyatra that is to be held from October 2 to 11.

In the Chairmanship of the party president CM Naveen Pattnaik, the party  will also make an assessment of the poll promises made by BJD during 2014 elections and steps taken by the State Government to fulfil them.

Meanwhile, the primary focus is on the appointment of the State Returning Officer(SRO) of the party who ws MLA Pravat Tripathy last year who was initially suspended.

BJD leader Prasanna Acharya said "We have organizing the Jana Sampark Padyatra since the party was formed every year to reach mass people. Regarding this a blue print will be prepared today for the state wide foot march in the meeting itsaelf ".
