Crime Branch To Investigate Astarang Murder Case

Bhubaneswar, September 23: After the brutal murder of a four-member family at Nagar village under Astarang station in Puri, CM Naveen Pattnaik has ordered the Crime Branch to investigate the matter today.

Crime Branch Additional Director General, B K Sharma said,"A team has been formed to carry out the investigation process and it will reach the spot today in afternoon ".

The bodies of the desceased were taken for autopsy after CM ordered Crime Branch to probe into the murder.

The relatives of the deceased are claiming the motive behind the murder could be property.However, no dentention has been made yet regarding the matter.
