Govt sanctions 300 CISF commandos for Tata Steel Kalinganagar project in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, septmber 25: Central Government sanctions 300 Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) commandos for Tata Steel's Kalinganagar project in Odisha. Central Government sanctions 500 CISF men for Tata projects in Odisha, Gujarat.  


The Union Home Ministry, sources said, gave its approval to deploy CISF security men for these two large private sector projects almost three years after a similar umbrella was extended to a Infosys campus and the Reliance refinery in Jamnagar in 2011. Tata will bear the cost of the deployment of the force and also ensure basic necessities like jawan barracks, vehicles and other daily needs for the commandos.
