Trawler Capsizes In Paradip Coast, 2 Fishermen Missing

Paradip, October 5: A trawler carrying 6 fishermen capsized in the Bay of Bengal along Odisha's Paradip coast today morning. Reportedly 4 fishermen are being said to be missing after the accident.

According to sources,the fishing trawler was in its way back after a fishing expedition when it was hit by a strong wave resulting in the capsizing of the trawler at the Mahanadi river mouth near the fishing harbour at around 8.30 am today.

While two were rescued, four other were missing till the time of filing the report.

Marine Police have launched search operations to rescue the missing fishermen.
