Bhubaneswar, October 5: New Delhi, October 5: In a high level meeting of the School & Mass Education Department at the State Secretariat today at the Secretariat here under the chairamship of Naveen Pattnaik, the Odisha government today decided to start 100 new schools operational from the next academic session.
After the meeting, School and Mass Education minister Debi Prasad Mishra while addressing the media informed that around 1332 employees would be recruited for appointment in these new model schools by March for which the advertisements will be released by February.
The process would be completed by March 2016 and a new outfit named Odisha Secondary Schools Organisation would be formed, he added.
The model schools, meant to impart education from Class I to Class XII, will be carved out at par with the central government-run Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), the Chief Minister's Office said in a statement.
