Central Team To Visit Odisha To Review Drought Situation

Bhubaneswar, October 7: A five-member team from the centre will visit Odisha to review the drought situation across the state.

Led by Additional Aommissioner of Agriculture Ministry R.P. Malik the 5-member central team will visit the 8 drought hit areas of the state.

Dhenkanal, Khurda, Bolangir, Boudh, Bargarh, Sonepur, Kandhamal and Keonjhar, which have received less than normal rainfall this year are particularly the districts which the central team is looking forward to take the stock.

Meanwhile, the central team is scheduled to visit Bargarh and Sonepur today.
