Family Murdered In Astarang, Crime Branch Quizzes Relatives

Astarang, October 8: While probing the sensational and mysterious quadruple murder at Dinadiyan in Astarang limits in Puri the five-member Crime team today reached the spot of the murder and quizzed the relatives of the deceased as a part of further investigation.

The Crime Branch quizzed two relatives of the deceased today.

Earlier, on September 22, four members of a family including two minor girls were found dead in their house with throat slit at Dinadiyan village.

The deceased were identified as retired district inspector of schools Dinabandhu Mallick, his wife Nirmala and two minor daughters Pranati and Saswati.

Following the incident, the irrate villagers hailing nearby had blocked the road after which CM Naveen Pattnaik order the CB to prove into the matter.

However, no detention had been taken place yet and the murder is still a mystery.
