Two Farmer Commits Suicide Each In Sambalpur And Bolangir

Bolangir/SAmbalpur, October 10: Adding to the row of farmer suicides in Odisha reportedly another two cases of farmer suicide have come across in Bolangir and Sambalpur districts.

One farmer hailing from Bedramahal village in Patnagarh sub-division of Bolangir allegedly committed suicide unable to bear the burden of debt.

Similarly, another farmer from  Jharjhari village in Sambalpur allegedly committed suicide due to the loss in the cultivation because of deficit in rainfall.

Meanwhile, Agriculture minister, Pradeep Maharathy has expressed grief over the reports. Moreover, Maharathy has also sought report from district administration and agricultural officials.
