Cabinet meeting begins today, 18 proposals likely to be discussed

Bhubaneswar,November 2: A total of 18 proposals likely to be discussed in the Odisha cabinet meeting  which will be began at 11.30 am on Monday at the Secretariat. 

A proposal from the Finance department on implementation of pension system for contractual government employees is likely to get the State Cabinet nod.

The Cabinet is also likely to take up a proposal on setting up of 2,601 godowns under the Co-operative department’s Warehouse Infrastructure Project.

A proposal on acquisition of private land for setting up of land bank for industry will be discussed in the Cabinet meeting.

Amendments to the Odisha Town Planning Service Board 1970, the Odisha Excise Rule 2002, the Odisha Civil Services Rule 1992 will also be taken up for discussion.

The Cabinet is likely to give its nod for setting up of Rural Self-employment Training Institute, regional committee office of NCTE and allotment of land for establishment of the branch of Maulana Azad Urdu University at Athagarh without 
premium.
