Sundar Raman step down as IPL COO

New Delhi, Nov 3:  Sundar Raman, chief operating officer (COO) of the Indian Premier League, has resigned from his post.

The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has accepted his resignation, Raman said, adding that he resigned about a few weeks ago. He will formally leave BCCI on 5 November and is currently considering a few job opportunities.

Raman has been the IPL's COO since the league’s inaugural season in 2008. He was appointed in February that year by former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi.
