Sanjeev Kumar on his 30th death anniversary today

New delhi, November 6: It was on this very day exactly 30 years ago that Indian cinema lost one of its most  iconic actor Sanjeev Kumar passed away after suffering a massive heart attack at the age of 47.

A versatile actor in every sense of the word, 'Hari Bhai' floored all and sundry, courtesy his flawless understanding of characters and subdued yet intense style of acting. Moreover, the star also exhibited the unique ability to pulloff aging/mature characters with absolute ease. Today,  tribute to Sanjeev Kumar and revisit some of his most unforgettable big screen outings.

 A blockbuster in every sense of the word, 'Sholay' saw Sanjeev Kumar essay a character that helped him become an inseparable part of the glorious history of Indian cinema. 

Aandhi, Koshish,Trishul,Angoor,Arjun pandit, Naya Din Nayi Raat, Dastak, Pati Patni Aur Woh ,Khilona etc, his great contributions to the bollywood film industry.

He had bagged a Filmfare award for Aandhi,Arjun pandit and Trishul.Later, he also achieved National award for Koshish and Dastak.
