IPS officer KB Singh appointed as new Odisha DGP

Bhubaneswar,November 8: The 1985 batch IPS officer Kanwar Brajesh Singh today has appointed as a new Odisha DGP at police headquarters in Cuttack.

After receiving the charge he vows to make police more accessible. He said first priority would be to bridge gap between cops and common man.The police would be made more responsible in coming days.

We will ensure socio- economic development in Maoist-hit areas, try to bring back more rebels to main stream of society, said Mr. K.B Singh. Cyber crime is growing. 

We will upgrade police stations and train the officer to tackle the crime, he further added.
