Nitish Kumar likely to take Oath On November 20

Patna,November 10 : Nitish Kumar will take the oath as Bihar chief minister on November 20. The swearing in ceremony will be organised at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna.

According to sources, he is likely to apply the tested formula of one minister for every five lawmakers. The new government is expected to be sworn in after the important festivals of Diwali tomorrow and Chhat on November 17.

According to reports, the new cabinet will have 15 MLAs from JD(U),  16  from RJD and 6  from Congress party. According to the constitution, 36 ministers, including the chief minister, can be included in the new cabinet.

The Mahagathbandhan registered a stunning victory in Bihar Polls by winning 178 seats, or a two-third majority, in the 243-member assembly. The BJP and its allies got a mere 58 seats.
