Road mishap: 6 injured as school van hits tree

Sundergarh,November 16: At least six including two students of Darlipalli Saraswati Sishu Mandir were injured when the school van hits tree on Monday.

Other injured include three teachers and driver of the vehicle. The incident occurred when the students were going to Koili Ghugar, a popular tourist spot near Lakhanpur in the district by a maruti van. The vehicle lost control and hit a roadside tree near Rohini square.

The injured persons were admitted to Hemgiri health centre first and two of them sustaining critical injuries on head and leg were shifted to the district headquarters hospital after their condition deteriorated.
