The 'Frozen' hitmaker arrived in Belgrade, Serbia in disguise to perform her 'Sticky & Sweet' concert in front of 30,000 fans on Monday, reported Daily Star.
The pop star had taken extra precautions after receiving threatening messages from Balkan fanatics. This was her first appearance onstage in the Serbian Capital and a large group of bodyguards was hired to protect her.
The minders accompanied the 51-year-old star to neighbouring country Romania too, where she performed on Wednesday.
Earlier, Madonna's 'Sticky & Sweet' tour had angered a group of Roman Catholics in Poland, who called her a 'crypto-Satanist' and had opposed her show's scheduling on the same day as the feast of Mother Mary. PTI |
