Nandita, journalist and writer, whose book 'An Unlikely Hero: Om Puri' created flutter for revealing the actor's sexual encounters, came clean at the Jaipur Literature Festival, denying that the leak of the sizzling bits was done on her behest.

"I could not have played such a gimmick at the cost of my family, it actually left me shocked and my son affected," she said.

Asked if it was a publicity gimmick, Om Puri, who had initially made a hue and cry over the issue said: "Yes it was a publicity gimmick, but not by Nandita, it was by the publishers.
