CM Extended Wishes For Bakrid Celebrations

Bhubaneswar: Unlike other years Bakrid or Eid-al Adha celebrations by Islamic community will be a matter of low key this year due to pandemic. Offering Namaaz and tradition of sacrifice will be done within the restricted guidelines of Covid-19.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended their warm greetings on the occasion of holy Islamic festival Eid-al- Adha.

"May the Eid bring happiness and strengthen the spirit of peace, brotherhood and compassion in the society," tweeted Naveen.

"May this day inspire us to create a just, harmonious and inclusive society. May the spirit of brotherhood and compassion be furthered," tweeted Modi.
