Fire Safety Certificates Available Online: CM

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday launched the 'Odisha Agni-Shama Seva' portal for issuance of fire safety certificates to different categories of buildings through online mode. Now people will no longer have to visit offices or  request officials for fire safety certificates as they can now get it online.

 "I am delighted to launch 'Odisha Agni-Shama Seva' online portal today for issuance of fire safety certificates to different categories of buildings through an online process. This will enhance efficiency, improve transparency and help provide timely services without actual human interaction," Patnaik said as per statement.

"Through 5T initiatives, transformation in governance through parameters of technology, teamwork, transparency and time can be achieved. Initially eight services are available and Fire Services Department may include other services by October2, 2020," added patnaik.

He further appreciated fire services personnel as 'true agents of change'.
