The repolling in West Bengal’s Falta constituency witnessed a high voter turnout on Thursday (May 21, 2026) amid heavy presence of Central forces. Repolling was largely peaceful after complaints of malpractices had surfaced on the original polling day on April 29.
According to latest Election Commission data, 87.85% people voted in Falta, and the turnout is expected to increase.
