Electoral Roll Revision Starts Today; Draft List on July 5
The Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls has commenced across the state from today. Booth Level Officers will visit households till June 28 to collect and verify voter information. Citizens will be required to provide family details and information related to the 2002 electoral roll. Following verification, the draft voter list will be published on July 5, while the final electoral roll is scheduled for release on September 6.

Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Begins in the State Today The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls begins across the state today, aimed at ensuring a more accurate and updated voter database. As part of the exercise, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct door-to-door verification until June 28. During the survey, every voter will be provided with two enumeration forms and asked to furnish details related to their family as well as information linked to the 2002 electoral roll.The BLOs will verify the information submitted by voters and make corrections to minor errors, if any, in the electoral records.According to the schedule, the draft electoral roll will be published on July 5, while the final electoral roll will be released on September 6 after the completion of the claims and objections process.
