Adani Green Energy commissions 3.37 GWh battery-energy storage system in Gujarat’s Khavda

Adani Green Energy informed on Tuesday (May 26, 2026) that it has commissioned 3.37 Gigawatt-hour (GWh) battery energy storage system in Gujarat’s Khavda. The deployment is inclusive of the 1.37 GWh capacity it had commissioned in March this year.
The green energy company said in a statement that the commissioned battery energy storage system can “store enough clean energy to power nearly one million homes for an entire day, supporting peak electricity demand of cities like Indore, Chandigarh or the entire State of Goa.”
