The Indian education system has had a rough three months. What is very evident from watching current events is that the Indian educational system is not falling apart all of a sudden, but is rather unravelling in a pretty open and predictable way. The NEET question paper leak scandal, the ongoing CBSE anxieties and last-minute curriculum adjustments, are all inextricably linked. They reveal a larger structural problem with the administration that has high-minded policy discourse but real sub-par implementation
